There is confusion these days regarding when to celebrate Shavuot (also known as Pentecost). It celebrates the giving of Torah as well as the arrival of The Comforter (Ruach Hakodesh, also known as Holy Spirit) which Yahushua sent to Simon Peter and disciples as promised, which occurred whilst they were celebrating Shavuot.
