Difference between Roman Catholics and true Protestants

Every time I watch the media these days there is a major story being aired of some major event involving the "Christians" which I notice is always now represented by screening video footage of only Roman Catholic services in a Catholic church or of the Pope himself. There is a major difference between true protestant Christians, Anabaptists and Catholics - a bloody history exists between them, a bloody history which it is important to remember! Personally, the acceptance of evolution and idols are what bugs me about the Catholics (they have removed the second commandment regarding the worship of idols from their 10 Commandments and have publicly accepted evolution alongside creation).
