Joseph Prince heresy

A You Tube video that has me boiling is one featuring Joseph Prince being interviewed on TBN with Joel Osteen, together with their respective wives.

Below is a link to the portion of the video which had me boiling the most:

Joseph Prince In New York—Exclusive Interview By Trinity Broadcasting Network (watch attentively from position 24min 19s)

Firstly, check out the make-up on Joseph Prince (not his real name, he had his name legally changed from his Sikh name Xenonamandar Jegahusiee Singh).  He has eye-shadow, blusher, hair-styling and all! (Even though he has publicly denied, during a Hillsong conference, that he uses any make-up.) Joseph Prince loves to talk about the "bondage" of the law and he mostly, casually, quotes Romans to support his skewed viewpoint.
Here is Romans 8: 1 (from the King James which we will be using throughout. We, however, no longer use corrupted names such as "Jesus" for Yahushua etc wherever possible. There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Messiah Yahushua, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Messiah Yahushua hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, YHUH sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against YHUH: for it is not subject to the law of YHUH, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please YHUH. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of YHUH dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Messiah, he is none of his. 10 And if Messiah be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Yahushua from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Messiah from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of YHUH, they are the sons of YHUH. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Around the 24 minute 19 second mark the interviewer (Phil Munsey), asks Joseph Prince to tell the audience more about the way he helps them with the "problem that people have of debt, that they feel awkward around God". Joseph states "it is a real problem, it's sin-consciousness, a sin debt on their conscience, and as long as you have a sin debt on your conscience you always fear God in a spirit of bondage, a slavish fear." Then he refers to Romans 8.
Let's analyse this: Firstly, Prince is making out that the feeling of debt and consciousness of sin is wrong rather than sin being wrong, but you can see that above it says in verse 12 "Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh." The fear and bondage that Paul refers to in Romans 8 ties in with Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;  15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.  16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham. 17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to YHUH, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.  18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Romans 8 is discussing the flesh which is subject to the law of sin and death which cannot please YHUH (God) as it rebels against His law, as opposed to the spirit which is subject to the law of liberty, which is obedient to the law of YHUH to please Him.  The flesh has bondage to fear of death if it is still alive, but the spirit has the respect of YHUH, to serve Him in love, if the flesh has been put to death with Yahushua (Jesus). Those true believers live in the Spirit until Yahushua, in His glorified flesh, comes and quickens them upon His return. The believer living by faith is dead to the flesh and sin and obeys the commandments, by faith, through the Spirit. The false believer on the other hand who lives to the flesh who wilfully sins, is still death conscious, and rightly so, since his YHUH - given conscience condemns him, especially if he does not confess his sins, and remains in the flesh. These false teachers are still in bondage to the fear of death themselves since they are still living in the materialistic flesh. Now they prefer to put YHUH's law to death rather than die to their own flesh by faith (which by definition means moral conviction). That is why they twist Paul's discussion to mean that the fear of bondage is referring to YHUH's law, which, on the contrary, Paul said is holy and good. The anti-Messiah spirit says Yahushua did not come in the flesh. In other words they deny that the believer's flesh was put to death with Yahushua's flesh. Paul explicitly said he served YHUH's law with his mind but his flesh would sin. He asked how he would be saved from this doom. His answer is "through Yahushua", thus, referring again, to death of the flesh with Yahushua.
Romans 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.  22 For I delight in the law of YHUH after the inward man:  23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.  24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?  25 I thank YHUH through Yahushua Messiah our Master. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of YHUH; but with the flesh the law of sin.
If these false teachers first fail to make their followers believe the lie that the remedy for salvation is to put YHUH's law to death, then they next work at trying to make them believe it is their consciences that must be assassinated. This subtlety puts its victims right where Satan wants them, having a seared conscience. There is very little help when one gets to this stage. In other words Joseph Prince is aiming for a church with reprobate minds. These two false remedies, death of YHUH's law and death of man's conscience are, of course, neither described by Paul or the scriptures.
Rather: John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
After justification it is death of the flesh that is needed and a continual daily mortifying of the deeds of the body, which is sanctification. Without ongoing sanctification, through the spirit, sin will take over, and death will return.
Rom 8:13 but IF ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
Note, it does not say: if you weaken the consciousness of sin in the mind you shall live. The lusts of the flesh must be put to death through the Saviour once the person is born again with baptism.  This cannot be done with YHUH's grace or his law alone but by the person mortifying their own flesh. The fleshly lusts are what cause one to sin and lead to the death of the soul and body. This "sin consciousness" or conscience toward sin must remain for future sins. Past sins however are forgiven, enabling us to be justified, to begin to faithfully, serve and obey YHUH's moral law with a clear conscience.
I Peter 3:21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (NOT the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward YHUH,) by the resurrection of Messiah Yahushua: This is only the beginning sign of a good conscience toward YHUH. It excludes the daily sanctification of the filth of the flesh which still needs to be "put away" daily. (Rom 8:13)
Hebrews 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Messiah, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to YHUH, purge your conscience from dead works to serve [*sanctify yourself and thus sanctify] the living Elohim? *I have added this based on the following verse: Isaiah 29:23 But when he seeth his children, the work of mine hands, in the midst of him, they shall sanctify my name, and sanctify the Holy One of Jacob, and shall fear the Elohim of Israel.
The conscience is not seared to a false state of fearlessness, but purged so that the believer makes a conscious and sober decision to obey YHUH's law freely. The conscience remains active to discern between both good and evil.
Hebrews 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. The senses, or conscience, are exercised, not dulled as one matures as a believer. Satan however wishes to make believers delusional, and drunk in their sin, as well as unconscious of their debt to the spirit of Yahushua, as servants to obey. This is really what the latest satanic so-called "drunk in the spirit movement" is about. People are seen laughing at their sinful state and there is a numbing of the conscience rather than a mourning and sober recognition of their sin, as is needed for true reformation. Anyone who tries to remove sin consciousness is of the devil, hardening the heart, making it more stubborn, by the very deception of sin itself. Paul says the opposite - that we must exhort one another daily to arouse sin consciousness:
Heb 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
James 1:13-16 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of YHUH: for YHUH cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: (That includes his law - his law does not tempt anyone! it does not produce bondage!) But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then, when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.
Do not err, my beloved brethren. Rather, a saved man is to be careful with his life once justified - he wants to show his gratitude to Messiah.  Realizing the terrible character of sin the truly saved man wants to leave all sin, and, in anxiousness, he wants to be holy to go to Heaven.
1 John 3:3 He that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
The scripture is full of this message.
1 Tim 1:19 Holding faith and a good conscience. You not only hold faith but you hold a good conscience as well "which some having put away, concerning faith have made shipwreck".
At no time is bondage linked to YHUH's law but rather to the sinful fleshly lusts which will not be controlled.
I am sure many of you are aware of the verse from 1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
It is more dangerous for disciples following the true faith of Yahushua to not have a nagging conscience, who choose to rather sear their consciences. We are to walk in Yahushua's ways, without sin, and, unfortunately, I am only too aware that living in this world exposes us to a multitude of sins every day. Anybody that feels that they are without sin daily is a liar.
1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.  9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
Repentance is key, as the daily Father's Prayer makes us aware. "Forgive us our trespasses (sins) as we forgive those who trespass against us." Repentance is only possible if you are aware of your sins on a daily basis. Joseph Prince, however, does not advocate repentance but rather just forgetting and moving on. This is what psychopaths are made of. This will result in a reprobate mind. He tries to make out that this fear of YHUH has been replaced with worship, which in these false churches is mainly perceived and put forward as, singing and clapping one's hands to music with good vibes.
Titus 1:16 They profess that they know YHUH; but in works they deny (contradict) him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate (morally cast away).
How about this verse - Phillipians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Joseph Prince is making out that at no time whatsoever are we to fear YHUH, but YHUH has not changed from the Old Testament, He is still the same consuming fire:
Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve YHUH acceptably with reverence and godly fear: 29 For our Elohim is a consuming fire.
If you read Deuteronomy 5 to 7, which describes the law as given at Mount Sinai, certain verses jump out as follows (Note the verses in bold) : 5:1. And Moses called all Israel, and said unto them, Hear, O Israel, the statutes and judgments which I speak in your ears this day, that ye may learn them, and keep, and do them. 2. YHUH our Elohim made a covenant with us in Horeb. 3. YHUH made not this covenant with our fathers, but with us, [even] us, who [are] all of us here alive this day. 4. YHUH talked with you face to face in the mount out of the midst of the fire, 5. (I stood between YHUH and you at that time, to shew you the word of YHUH: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount;) saying, 6. I [am] YHUH thy Elohim, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 7. Thou shalt have none other gods before me. 8. Thou shalt not make thee [any] graven image, [or] any likeness [of any thing] that [is] in heaven above, or that [is] in the earth beneath, or that [is] in the waters beneath the earth: 9. Thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I YHUH thy Elohim [am] a jealous Elohim, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation] of them that hate me, 10. And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me and keep my commandments. 11. Thou shalt not take the name of YHUH thy Elohim in vain: for YHUH will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain. 12. Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as YHUH thy Elohim hath commanded thee. 13. Six days thou shalt labour, and do all thy work: 14. But the seventh day (Saturday) [is] the sabbath of YHUH thy Elohim: [in it] thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, nor thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thine ox, nor thine ass, nor any of thy cattle, nor thy stranger that [is] within thy gates; that thy manservant and thy maidservant may rest as well as thou. 15. And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and [that] YHUH thy Elohim brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore YHUH thy Elohim commanded thee to keep the sabbath day. 16. Honour thy father and thy mother, as YHUH thy Elohim hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which YHUH thy Elohim giveth thee. 17. Thou shalt not kill. 18. Neither shalt thou commit adultery. 19. Neither shalt thou steal. 20. Neither shalt thou bear false witness against thy neighbour. 21. Neither shalt thou desire thy neighbour's wife, neither shalt thou covet thy neighbour's house, his field, or his manservant, or his maidservant, his ox, or his ass, or any [thing] that [is] thy neighbour's. 22. These words YHUH spake unto all your assembly in the mount out of the midst of the fire, of the cloud, and of the thick darkness, with a great voice: and he added no more. And he wrote them in two tables of stone, and delivered them unto me. 23. And it came to pass, when ye heard the voice out of the midst of the darkness, (for the mountain did burn with fire,) that ye came near unto me, [even] all the heads of your tribes, and your elders; 24. And ye said, Behold, YHUH our Elohim hath shewed us his glory and his greatness, and we have heard his voice out of the midst of the fire: we have seen this day that Elohim doth talk with man, and he liveth. 25. Now therefore why should we die? for this great fire will consume us: if we hear the voice of YHUH our Elohim any more, then we shall die. 26. For who [is there of] all flesh, that hath heard the voice of the living Elohim speaking out of the midst of the fire, as we [have], and lived? 27. Go thou near, and hear all that YHUH our Elohim shall say: and speak thou unto us all that YHUH our Elohim shall speak unto thee; and we will hear [it], and do [it]. 28. And YHUH heard the voice of your words, when ye spake unto me; and YHUH said unto me, I have heard the voice of the words of this people, which they have spoken unto thee: they have well said all that they have spoken. 29. O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! 30. Go say to them, Get you into your tents again. 31. But as for thee, stand thou here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do [them] in the land which I give them to possess it. 32. Ye shall observe to do therefore as YHUH your Elohim hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. 33. Ye shall walk in all the ways which YHUH your Elohim hath commanded you, that ye may live, and [that it may be] well with you, and [that] ye may prolong [your] days in the land which ye shall possess.
In the New Testament there is mentions of YHUH's coming wrath against the ungodly which people should fear:
2 Peter 3: 5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of YHUH the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:  6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished:  7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
How would Joseph Prince explain away the following?
Isaiah 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:  2 And the spirit of YHUH shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of YHUH;  3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of YHUH:
And Psa 19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
How would he explain this?
If you are following in Yahushua's teachings and are walking in His ruach (spirit), you would then have inherited this fear of YHUH, therefore Joseph Prince is teaching of a false Jesus of another spirit, not Yahushua, the true Messiah, son of YHUH.
Deut. 13: 1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,  2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;  3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for YHUH your Elohim proveth you, to know whether ye love YHUH your Elohim with all your heart and with all your soul.  4 Ye shall walk after YHUH your Elohim and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.  5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death; because he hath spoken to turn you away from YHUH your Elohim, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to thrust thee out of the way which YHUH thy Elohim commanded thee to walk in. So shalt thou put the evil away from the midst of thee.  6 ¶If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;  7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;  8 Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:  9 But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.  10 And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from YHUH thy Elohim, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
You do not want to be one of those mentioned here:
Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear [FEARLESS - NOT WORSHIPLESS SINCE THEY WERE PRESENT AT THE PLACE OF WORSHIP]: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
It is a classic, out of context argument. Joseph Prince quotes "you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear ". He says that is fearing "God" in an Old Testament way, such as shown below:
Deut 6:13 Thou shalt fear YHUH thy Elohim, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name. 14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you; 15 (For YHUH thy Elohim is a jealous Elohim among you) lest the anger of YHUH thy Elohim be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.
Yes, that is from the Old Testament, but what about this:
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Mal 3:6 For I am YHUH, I change not;
Neither is there "shadow of turning" in His son, Yahushua:
Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person (of YHUH).
Heb 13:8 Yahushua Messiah the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Everyone must remember that YHUH and his Son do not change. So this nonsense, of the Old Testament "God", being different from a New Testament "God", is not Biblical. Joseph Prince is preaching about a different god and not YHUH.
Before you can be a vessel of worship there is a condition required from you.
II Tim 2: 21 IF a man therefore PURGE HIMSELF from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.  22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on Messiah out of a pure heart.
This verse clearly shows that it is with a pure heart that one can purify oneself from the pollutions of this world and its sin. If the heart is hard and the conscience is seared it will not be able to discern evil through sin consciousness, instead it will blindly follow false teachers back into the mud of bondage.
2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error. 19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.  20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour Yahushua Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.  21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.  22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.
In the above verse it is the doctrines of man that bring one into bondage - those that promise liberty (freedom from fear of YHUH and sin consciousness) while lusting after their own desires. It is these false teachers, like Joseph Prince who send the "saved" and "cleaned" sheep, back into the vomit and mud.
Question: At the crucifixion, which man was benefited by the guilt of his sin and the fear of YHUH unto salvation, and which one was not?
Luke 23:39 And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Messiah save thyself and us.  40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear YHUH, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?  41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.  42 And he said unto Yahushua, Master, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. 43 And Yahushua said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
The one who saw Messiah as the saviour and himself as the debtor to sin was saved. He feared YHUH. The one who only wanted Messiah to save him from the circumstances of sin did not fear YHUH but only the consequences of his own sin. He wanted to simply escape the stake of torture.
Ps 36: 1 The transgression of the wicked saith within my heart, that there is no fear of YHUH before his eyes.  2 For he flattereth himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful. 3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good. 4 He deviseth mischief upon his bed; he setteth himself in a way that is not good; he abhorreth not evil.
I Cor 2: 3 And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.  4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:  5 That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of YHUH.
Now we must all remember, as true followers of Yahushua, to fear YHUH's word over man as those who do not fear YHUH will teach doctrines of men and great errors will be made.
John 12:42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:  43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of YHUH.
Fear of men and their church organisations rather than praise and obedience to the true YHUH is the downfall of many believers today.
Prince continues in the video: "Now, what about the fear of the Lord, people ask the question, would you like Jesus's definition of the fear of the Lord?" "When He was tempted in the wilderness, alright, the Devil came to Him and says fall before me and worship me and I will give you everything. Jesus said "It is written thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and Him only shalt thou serve."
Now, if you look at the quotation, he was quoting from Deuteronomy, you will find, in Deuteronomy 6:13 "Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve Him, and shalt swear by His name." So Jesus defined the fear of the Lord as the worship of God."
Now, here is the whole of Deuteronomy 6:  1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which YHUH your Elohim commanded to teach you, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go to possess it: 2 That thou mightest fear YHUH thy Elohim, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command thee, thou, and thy son, and thy son's son, all the days of thy life; and that thy days may be prolonged3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with thee, and that ye may increase mightily, as YHUH Elohim of thy fathers hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.  4 Hear, O Israel: YHUH our Elohim is one Elohim:  5 And thou shalt love YHUH thy Elohim with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.  6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:  7 And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. 8 And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.  9 And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates.  10 And it shall be, when YHUH thy Elohim shall have brought thee into the land which he sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give thee great and goodly cities, which thou buildedst not,  11 And houses full of all good things, which thou filledst not, and wells digged, which thou diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which thou plantedst not; when thou shalt have eaten and be full;  12 Then beware lest thou forget YHUH, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 13 Thou shalt fear YHUH thy Elohim, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.  14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;  15 (For YHUH thy Elohim is a jealous Elohim among you) lest the anger of YHUH thy Elohim be kindled against thee, and destroy thee from off the face of the earth.  16 ¶Ye shall not tempt YHUH your Elohim, as ye tempted him in Massah.  17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of YHUH your Elohim, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.  18 And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of YHUH: that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which YHUH sware unto thy fathers,  19 To cast out all thine enemies from before thee, as YHUH hath spoken. 20 And when thy son asketh thee in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which YHUH our Elohim hath commanded you? 21 Then thou shalt say unto thy son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and YHUH brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:  22 And YHUH shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes: 23 And he brought us out from thence, that he might bring us in, to give us the land which he sware unto our fathers.  24 And YHUH commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear YHUH our Elohim, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as it is at this day. 25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before YHUH our Elohim, as he hath commanded us.
Having read the above, do you think that what Joseph Prince said is correct, that YHUH defined this fear as only worship? Put in full context above there is no "worship" as seen in our modern churches but rather obedience to the commandments given by YHUH, and strict avoidance of idolatry!
Above we see New Creation Church worshipping everything but YHUH because they contradict and deny YHUH's commands as given in Deut 6.
Now, here comes something even worse: Phil Munsey continues: "Now, talk to me about this illustration, I don't know if it came from your book "Destined to Reign (Prince interjects)" or Unmerited Favour, but talk to me about this analogy of someone who owes someone. Prince says "OK, suppose I owe you some money, all right, and uh, I owe, let's say I owe $10,000.00. (This person is the sinner). The presenter interjects "You owe to me?" Prince says "Yeah". "Now, whenever I see you, I promise to pay you back in a month's time." The Presenter says "Okay, it's been a month". There is much laughter in this section as it is presented humorously which makes it all the sadder. Prince continues "so every time I see you, guess what, I'll avoid you, all right, because I have debt on my conscience. All right, I tried my best to pay but I couldn't pay so whenever I see you I try my best to avoid being in the same room with you, I try to avoid you. Now supposing, Joel (Osteen) hears about my debt, all right, and let's just assume Joel has some money (tongue in cheek humour), all right, so let's say Joel is in a hurry to have a night of hope in Paris for example, he's in a hurry, he hears about my predicament, and he asks "I hear Joseph owes you, how much does he owe you? $ 10,000.00, and he gives you a million dollar cheque" (This is Yahushua dying on the cross for our sins). The Presenter says "Come on" drooling over the idea of all that money. After more joking Prince says "You know, that's an over-payment." "And because he loves me so much he just wants me to have no debt on my conscience and to feel free around you. he just blesses you." "Now, what has happened here? You have been enriched, it's an over-payment. Now, what Joel did is that he appointed someone, one of his assistants, to inform me that my debt has been paid. Now, how well that has been communicated to me, all right, is important. If that person comes and says "You know, something about Joel paying something, your debt, you know, I'm not too sure about the details, but, but, just to be on the safe side, keep on paying Phil (Presenter). Now, there's a mixed message, right? Now, what's happened is that the body of Christ, we have not heard the pure Gospel, all right, we have not heard, let alone, not only about the payment but the over-payment, all right, because Jesus's payment to God is much more. All right, here's like a million dollar payment for our $10,000.00 debt. So it is an over-payment as the Bible says "much more, much more, much more." Okay, so now, when I see you, let's say someone comes over and now communicates clearly. "Joseph". In the middle of the night he calls me up, wakes me up and he says "Joseph, good news, all right, you know what Joel did? He loves you so much he gave a million dollars payment to Phil." Guess what, the next morning I'm at your front door, and I say "Hey Phil, come on, you've been enriched because of me, I'm no longer avoiding you, come on man, how about a treat, come on, some 5 star Italian restaurant, come on bro. And how about sharing a bit of that." "The thing is, when we have realised how much Jesus has paid, our sin debt, He paid a debt he did not owe, all right, I owed a debt I could never pay, but His payment was an over-payment because you know the quality, the value of that one man, compared to all the men that have ever lived. He is an over-payment. And, if I can say this, reverently, God, God has become a gainer, enriched by redemption, he has gained much more by redemption than He ever lost through Adam's sin, and that's something all believers must know. We come to God, all right, he has been enriched, He reaps a greater harvest of praise and worship to Him than he ever did from Creation, from the fields of redemption. Hallelujah! This is amazing Grace."
What? Am I hearing right? YHUH owes us after having to put His own son to death for us in a horrifically painful and humiliating way?  YHUH owes us?
Phil says "So, the first thing that comes to my mind is "Come boldly now, come boldly, not when you are doing good, because it doesn't matter, because even when you're in trouble, even when you've had a bad day, come boldly."
What? YHUH is the antithesis of evil - are we to feel bold towards YHUH when we are full of sin or are we to come to YHUH with a contrite heart with fear and trembling begging forgiveness? We are, on the other hand, to come boldly to him for help BEFORE we sin as the verse describes. Joseph interjects "Come boldly to obtain mercy." The Bible actually says come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need (to escape temptation to sin), not, get a free meal ticket to an Italian restaurant and go to hell for surfeiting!
Luke 21:34. And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. 36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.
We come boldly, meaning we have the assurance that Messiah and his Father are able to aid us when we are being tempted in order to to escape that temptation.
Mat 6:13 "Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil"
II Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour Yahushua Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.
II Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
Phil Munsey continues "Because you already know that the payment has been overpaid, there's not enough that you can do, and, em, wow, that's a little staggering man." I think he realised he had lost the plot here. Munsey had said "there is not enough that you can do" - mmm, so you would still feel a debt through love and would still want to show YHUH love through obedience maybe? Prince takes over to cover his blunder "And our sins are forgiven, past, present and future".
Forgiveness of future sins! That sounds very much like the Muslim custom of individuals who feel they have attained the fullest level of spiritual purity in their lives going on their last pilgrimage to Mecca to obtain forgiveness for future sins prior to death. It also sounds like the payment of indulgences to the Roman Catholic church to get forgiveness of all sins. Obtaining forgiveness for future sins means no more feelings of repentance for any sins committed from the point of salvation!  All is already forgiven so who cares what I do next, right?
Prince continues "Now, some people are afraid when you preach that, and they'll say things like, you know, I can't preach that in my church, there's no telling what people would do. Right, so they would rather not preach the truth, because of some fleshly fear, than to trust the power of the Gospel to change people. Now, obviously, Jesus does not share the same sentiment as these people because Jesus believed whoever is forgiven much will love much". Prince gives the example of the woman "probably a prostitute" he says that she wept and washed Jesus's feet and dried them with her hair. Jesus said "Simon (the Pharisee he was eating with), I have something to tell you, there were two debtors who owed a creditor, one owed a thousand the other a hundred thousand. When they both could not pay, and he forgave them both. Who would love him more? Simon the Pharisee answered the one that was given most and Jesus continued that he came to Simon's house but was not given water to wash his feet but the woman had washed them with her tears."
Sure, but then people are so fickle, and Paul said sin is deceptive - they will remember for a short time but their love will grow cold over time if they do not continue to respect YHUH - the age-old back-sliding in church problem! Only Yahushua led a perfect life on earth and we are not Him so we need to boldly ask Him for help continually as we try to emulate Him as best we can, and it really is hard work in this sinful world!
Prince carries on "The reason why the body of Christ is not passionately in love with Jesus where with their lips they say "I love you Lord but in their hearts, you know, it's because they still have this sin debt on their conscience. And if only we would preach the truth that your sins are forgiven, past, present and future, rest easy, that will not cause a licentiousness lifestyle. Right believing will produce right living. With that, teaching from the pulpit, all right, right living, right living, right living, character, character, and yet there is so much, uh, uh, uh, lack of character in the pews and there's  a lot of wrong living. Why is that so? Because the pulpit is not a place of unveiling the law, it's a place of unveiling Jesus and His finished work. Right believing, if they believe right, they will live right. In other words, it is the believing that is most important."
Did you hear that people - you all lack character!?
Phil then says "It is so crucial because what I see is that a lot of Christians, they really have been forgiven a lot but they don't know it, someone has not made them aware that not only, and this is what I see, I work with Joel, I'm a Pastor, but because I see what God is doing, and the Christian community is stuck judging, and I always tell people "resist the nudge to judge" but they can't help themselves because we judge that which we're having a problem with, Jesus made it clear, it's a dead give away, whatever you're judging, it's what you, yourself need to be judged in, and I think tonight, you coming here, and I mean this...with all the equity I have, I'm leaning into this, your message, this message, it's not your message, you're a facilitator."
Yes, I am sure that Phil will give of his "equity" to turn a quick and tidy profit from this preaching with Joseph Prince!
Phil then says "The Bible says, how can they hear, unless a man preach it, and how can a man preach it unless he is sent. I want to prophetically say to you that for such a time as now, the nations are opening, you must speak this word because we are devouring one another, we are judging one another, we can't even celebrate, I've watched Joel, I've watched nearly a million people give their life to Christ but people can't even celebrate that because we're in such bondage."
This is strange because these churches keep on celebrating every SUNday, regardless of sin, singing and clapping away. Okay, so let me get this right - now the only bondage spoken of by Joseph and Phil above is the bondage of judgement placed by one person on another.  Here are some verses for you:
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.  2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.  3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?  4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?  5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.
Does this mean that the law should not be preached because people are doing wrong amongst each other? Read this:
1 Tim 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;  9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for man slayers, 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for men stealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;  11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed YHUH, which was committed to my trust.
Phil says "I just, in the minutes that we have left here, I just want to release a prophetic prayer that God is going to begin to unveil, unveil, unveil, unveil. "Let's just talk about your fruit." Joseph begins again "You know, Phil, I feel in my heart, a special love for Pastors, you know Pastors want to preach the truth, I just want to speak to the Pastors for a while, you know. Galatians Chapter 1 tells us if we preach any other Gospel, if we or an angel from heaven, not an angel from Hell, an angel from Heaven, preach any other Gospel than the Gospel of Grace, than what we have preached to you, then let him be anathema which means accursed.  And if that is not enough, he repeats twice, if we or an angel from Heaven preach any other Gospel, let him be accursed."
Here is Gal 1: 8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
Joseph mentions "not an angel from Hell", I wonder why? Joseph adds in here "other than the Gospel of Grace" which is not mentioned in the real verse! Also the real verse 9: As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed. No mention of the "Gospel of Grace" again!
Prince carries on "Now I want to challenge you Pastors, when you preach the Gospel of Grace, the opposite will happen, you will be doubly blessed, yeah, because the Bible is so clear, that it's the Gospel of Grace that unveils Jesus." Again no specific verse is given. He continues... "Grace is not a teaching, Grace is the person of Jesus Christ. If you are watching this right now, wherever you may be, I want you to encounter the person of Jesus, when you touch Him, you touch your healing, when you touch Him, you touch your prosperity, your provision, when you touch Him, you touch your emotional wholeness, and your broken heart will be healed, I want to pray for you right now, stretch your hands towards the TV....Father in Heaven, you said Lord, when you blessed the people in these words "I will put my name on them, and I will bless them", the Lord himself bless you with the blessings of Deuteronomy 28 and the blessings of Abraham."
Huh? Here is the Old Testament YHUH of the Ten Commandments in Deuteronomy 28, starting off with the condition "IF" (requiring our first doing something before reward): Deut 28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of YHUH thy Elohim, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that YHUH thy Elohim will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: 2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of YHUH thy Elohim.  3 Blessed shalt thou be in the city, and blessed shalt thou be in the field.  4 Blessed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy ground, and the fruit of thy cattle, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.  5 Blessed shall be thy basket and thy store. 6 Blessed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and blessed shalt thou be when thou goest out.  7 YHUH shall cause thine enemies that rise up against thee to be smitten before thy face: they shall come out against thee one way, and flee before thee seven ways.  8 YHUH shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which YHUH thy Elohim giveth thee. 9 YHUH shall establish thee an holy people unto himself, as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou shalt keep the commandments of YHUH thy Elohim, and walk in his ways.  10 And all people of the earth shall see that thou art called by the name of YHUH; and they shall be afraid of thee.  11 And YHUH shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which YHUH sware unto thy fathers to give thee.  12 YHUH shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.  13 And YHUH shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of YHUH thy Elohim, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:  14 And thou shalt not go aside from any of the words which I command thee this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other gods to serve them.  15 But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of YHUH thy Elohim, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:  16 Cursed shalt thou be in the city, and cursed shalt thou be in the field.  17 Cursed shall be thy basket and thy store. 18 Cursed shall be the fruit of thy body, and the fruit of thy land, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep.  19 Cursed shalt thou be when thou comest in, and cursed shalt thou be when thou goest out.  20 YHUH shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me. 21 YHUH shall make the pestilence cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.  22 YHUH shall smite thee with a consumption, and with a fever, and with an inflammation, and with an extreme burning, and with the sword, and with blasting, and with mildew; and they shall pursue thee until thou perish. 23 And thy heaven that is over thy head shall be brass, and the earth that is under thee shall be iron.  24 YHUH shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.  25 YHUH shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them, and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth. 26 And thy carcass shall be meat unto all fowls of the air, and unto the beasts of the earth, and no man shall fray them away.  27 YHUH will smite thee with the botch of Egypt, and with the emerods, and with the scab, and with the itch, whereof thou canst not be healed. 28 YHUH shall smite thee with madness, and blindness, and astonishment of heart: 29 And thou shalt grope at noonday, as the blind gropeth in darkness, and thou shalt not prosper in thy ways: and thou shalt be only oppressed and spoiled evermore, and no man shall save thee.  30 Thou shalt betroth a wife, and another man shall lie with her: thou shalt build an house, and thou shalt not dwell therein: thou shalt plant a vineyard, and shalt not gather the grapes thereof. 31 Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. 32 Thy sons and thy daughters shall be given unto another people, and thine eyes shall look, and fail with longing for them all the day long: and there shall be no might in thine hand. 33 The fruit of thy land, and all thy labours, shall a nation which thou knowest not eat up; and thou shalt be only oppressed and crushed alway:  34 So that thou shalt be mad for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. 35 YHUH shall smite thee in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of thy foot unto the top of thy head. 36 YHUH shall bring thee, and thy king which thou shalt set over thee, unto a nation which neither thou nor thy fathers have known; and there shalt thou serve other gods, wood and stone. 37 And thou shalt become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither YHUH shall lead thee. 38 Thou shalt carry much seed out into the field, and shalt gather but little in; for the locust shall consume it.  39 Thou shalt plant vineyards, and dress them, but shalt neither drink of the wine, nor gather the grapes; for the worms shall eat them.  40 Thou shalt have olive trees throughout all thy coasts, but thou shalt not anoint thyself with the oil; for thine olive shall cast his fruit.  41 Thou shalt beget sons and daughters, but thou shalt not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity. 42 All thy trees and fruit of thy land shall the locust consume. 43 The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low.  44 He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail.  45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon thee, and shall pursue thee, and overtake thee, till thou be destroyed; because thou hearkenest not unto the voice of YHUH thy Elohim, to keep his commandments and his statutes which he commanded thee:  46 And they shall be upon thee for a sign and for a wonder, and upon thy seed for ever.  47 Because thou servest not YHUH thy Elohim with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things;  48 Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which YHUH shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.  49 YHUH shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; 50 A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young: 51 And he shall eat the fruit of thy cattle, and the fruit of thy land, until thou be destroyed: which also shall not leave thee either corn, wine, or oil,or the increase of thy kine, or flocks of thy sheep, until he have destroyed thee. 52 And he shall besiege thee in all thy gates, until thy high and fenced walls come down, wherein thou trustest, throughout all thy land: and he shall besiege thee in all thy gates throughout all thy land, which YHUH thy Elohim hath given thee.  53 And thou shalt eat the fruit of thine own body, the flesh of thy sons and of thy daughters, which YHUH thy Elohim hath given thee, in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee: 54 So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave:  55 So that he will not give to any of them of the flesh of his children whom he shall eat: because he hath nothing left him in the siege, and in the straitness, wherewith thine enemies shall distress thee in all thy gates. 56 The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter,  57 And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates. 58 If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, YHUH;  59 Then YHUH will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.  60 Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee.  61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will YHUH bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. 62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of YHUH thy Elohim. 63 And it shall come to pass, that as YHUH rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so YHUH will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.  64 And YHUH shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.  65 And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but YHUH shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind:  66 And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life:  67 In the morning thou shalt say, Would Elohim it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would Elohim it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see.  68 And YHUH shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you."
Blessings come from following YHUH's commandments, pure and simple.  You cannot choose to not follow the commandments and sin and then expect YHUH's blessings to flow through grace like Joseph is preaching! Joseph Prince claims these blessings of "God" while rejecting the conditions. He tries to curse those believers who try to keep YHUH's commandments. He clearly teaches they cannot inherit the blessings of YHUH if they are believers and believe in trying to keep the law. But what does Yahushua himself say?
Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
The new covenant, an addendum to the everlasting covenant, has been founded on better promises, namely eternal life in the heavenly kingdom, this is the ultimate blessing. Joseph Prince focuses on the earthly promises or blessings of the old covenant and rejects the requirements of keeping the commandments which still apply to the new covenant today for eternal life.
Prince continues "The Lord make His face shine on you, protect you from all evil, protect you from this economic downturn, you are in the world but you are not of the world."
I notice the pagan wicca dog-collar studded bracelet around his wrist at this stage.
"Your provisions are from His riches in glory, and I release upon you the abundance of Heaven, I release upon you the riches of Jesus, I release upon you, abundance of Grace and the gift of righteousness, now reign in life, reign over your addictions, reign over your sin, reign in life. For Jesus has qualified you. Amen."
I doubt that Joseph Prince has the right to release anything from Heaven with the nonsense he teaches. Now, how does one reign over one's sin when Joseph Prince earlier put sin consciousness to death? Secondly, how does one know what sin is when Joseph Prince put YHUH's moral law to death? Oh yes, by the special release of the magic gift of grace and an unconscious righteousness devoid of YHUH's law. Yes, you will receive this through your TV direct from Joseph Prince. Yes, reach out to your TV now. Sure.
Now, let us learn what bondage Joseph Prince attempts to place the congregation under after Yahushua has justified them :
Gal. 4:9-10  But now, after that ye have known YHUH, or rather are known of YHUH, how turn ye again to the weak and beggarly elements, whereunto ye desire again to be in bondage?
Yes, he turns them to the weak and beggarly elements again. What are these? Well, Paul tells us :
Gal. 4:8 Howbeit then, when ye knew not YHUH, ye did service unto them which by nature are no gods.
Yes, he returns the gentiles back to what he himself has never left - idolatry! He claims that YHUH's law is bondage and fear, but it is, in fact, the bondage to idolatry that the Galatians were being fooled into again. The weak and beggarly elements were not a way of showing fear toward the true YHUH or his law since the Gentiles, to whom this was addressed, were not YHUH - fearing in the first place. Paul is explicitly referring to pagan worship of idols ("are no gods" - is a Jewish idiom for idols (James Montgomery Boice, the Expositor's Bible Commentary 1976, Vol, 10 . p 475). So Joseph Prince has done exactly what Simon Magus did. He turned people away from YHUH's law saying it was slavery, Joseph Prince calls it a slavish fear. He, like Magus, preaches a so-called message of grace that he himself releases, and finally gets them to be idolatrous. When Magus died he was worshipped even more than whilst he was alive. Will this be the case with Joseph Prince? It has been the case with other recent false teachers close to Joseph Prince's mentors. William Branham is one that comes to mind.
It is interesting that it is 250 of Joseph Prince's members that fell into this kind of deception at Chingay 2012. Was this Joseph Prince's own experiment in seduction and revolt, a so-called grace revolution? Was this the beginning of more seduction to come? One immediately thinks of the false Messiah's that have come and gone and how easily people have followed them, such as David Koresh and Jim Jones. They are more noteworthy as they produced literal suicides. However, when it is spiritual suicide it is less abhorred, but why? Is spiritual death not more eternal and final? In the rebellion of Korah 250 Levites joined in and were then punished as follows:
Num 16:17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before YHUH every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer. Num 16:18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron. Num 16:35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
The death of these 250 in the old testament is a sign to Israel, but this includes you and me, who, today, are true disciples and thus part of the commonwealth of Israel. Perhaps the spiritual fall of these 250 at Chingay is a prophetic sign to us that we should steer clear of Joseph Prince who creates spiritual death of the congregation. Prince also does this in the name of revolution, but only calls it a grace revolution. He leads those, once saved, to bondage all over again and they become twice dead.
Jude 1:12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves WITHOUT FEAR, clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Galatians 2:4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Messiah Yahushua, that they might bring us into bondage: (PAGAN WORSHIP & IDOLATRY) as well as the elements of the world. Gal 4:3 Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: (worldly philosophy and worldly system).
I quote: "The Chingay Parade was a real feast for the ears and the eyes, with sumptuous fireworks and participants cheering: "Chingay, Chingay, we are one! People, people, we are one! Parade, parade, we are one! Singapore, Singapore, we are one!" So New Creation Church, under Joseph Prince, declared their oneness with the elements of the world and returned to the bondage that Yahushua had bled and died for them to escape from.
Jeremiah 44:10 They are not humbled even unto this day, NEITHER HAVE THEY FEARED NOR WALKED IN MY LAW, NOR IN MY STATUTES, that I set before you and before your fathers.
