The Camel Debate on Yahoo!

People today cannot help but see the latest Yahoo! articles posted weekly online. Yahoo! posted an article about camels not having been around in the days of the Bible Patriarchs, implying that this proves there are errors in the Bible. Refer to the article below:

I beg to differ and have another link below which states the case:

My view is that Abraham came into contact with the Egyptian Pharaoh and his palace - the Egyptians were renowned for animal "import" for the Pharaoh's entertainment and to show off his riches and power. Camels would very likely have been around and could have been given to Abraham as it states in:

Genesis 12:15 The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh's house.  16 And he entreated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and he asses, and menservants, and maidservants, and she asses, and camels.

Thereafter Abraham would have taken the camels with on his travels and handed them on to the subsequent generations when they bred. Mystery solved as far as I'm concerned.
